Edward Blampied is an established Jersey born artist. He studied Art & Illustration at King Alfred’s College, Winchester, and made his debut illustrating “Frank’s Fun Feast”, a book of poems and quotations.
Subsequently he spent time working at Jersey Pottery as a ceramic artist, eventually developing his own style of painting which kick-started his career as a selling artist, working on both comical and classical styles of illustration, including sculpture.
“My art is a reflection of how I see life, I have no desire to paint the doom and gloom in this world. I see my painting as an escape, a doorway to a world I wish I lived in”.
Edward is available for commissions.
