Yvonne Wright

Yvonne has lived in Jersey for over 50 years and has worked in art, photography, fashion and design since winning a scholarship at the age of 13 to the Moseley College of Arts and Crafts.

Yvonne’s work now mainly focuses on colourful floral paintings, landscapes, still life and large abstracts using a limited palette to create a veil of floating shapes.

Yvonne has worked creatively in Jersey for many years starting with social photography on Jersey’s first local magazine “Topic” before moving on to garden and interior design.

For 18 years Yvonne was owner and manager of  the well known local fashion boutique Bellissima in Halkett Place and Byblos in Waterloo Street.

Yvonne won first prize in the JJ Fox open Art Competition in 2003 and has had various exhibitions around the Island.

You will find Yvonne’s work in private collections in the USA, Italy, Spain, the UK and Jersey.
